How to withdraw from Kalshi to a Nigerian bank account

Kalshi holds your balance in US dollars. For users outside the United States it offers two ways out: a debit card, or crypto. This guide covers the crypto route and how to turn it into naira in your bank.

How money leaves Kalshi if you are outside the US

This guide covers moving funds you already hold. It is not a view on prediction markets, and whether you may use one depends on its terms and the law where you live.

Kalshi's help centre says international users can withdraw by debit card or by crypto. The bank transfers American users have are not offered internationally.

Two conditions apply to the crypto route. Kalshi requires that you have made a crypto deposit before you can withdraw by crypto, and it may ask for additional checks before releasing a withdrawal. Because your balance is in dollars, Kalshi converts it into the coin you choose at the moment you withdraw.

Kalshi to your bank in five steps

01

In Kalshi, open Transfers, choose Withdraw from Kalshi, then Crypto

Kalshi lists the assets and networks available to your account on that screen.

02

Choose an asset and network that Yesa also lists

USDC is the simplest, because it keeps its dollar value while it moves. Yesa accepts USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), Solana, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), Base and Arbitrum, and also buys SOL.

03

Open the matching deposit address in Yesa

Choose the same coin and the same network in Yesa, and copy that address into Kalshi.

04

Send a small first withdrawal

Kalshi says crypto withdrawals carry no fee and typically arrive within 30 minutes.

05

Sell at the rate on screen and withdraw to your bank

When the deposit shows in Yesa, sell at the payout rate shown and withdraw to any Nigerian bank account.

Match the network, every time

Kalshi's help pages do not publish a fixed list of coins and networks for international accounts; the withdrawal screen shows what is available to you. Whatever it offers, the rule is the same: the coin and the network you pick in Kalshi must be a coin and network on your Yesa deposit screen, and the address must be the one Yesa shows for that network.

All six USDC networks are compared in USDC to naira by network.

Kalshi to naira: common questions

Can Kalshi pay naira into a Nigerian bank account?

Not directly. For users outside the United States, Kalshi's help centre lists debit card and crypto as the withdrawal methods. With the crypto route, you withdraw to a platform that buys crypto for naira, sell there, and withdraw to your bank.

Why can't I see the crypto withdrawal option on Kalshi?

Kalshi requires a prior crypto deposit before it allows a crypto withdrawal, and it may ask for additional checks first. Its help centre has the current conditions.

Which coin should I withdraw from Kalshi?

USDC is the simplest, because it keeps its dollar value while it moves. Choose a network that both Kalshi's withdrawal screen and your Yesa deposit screen list.

How long does a Kalshi crypto withdrawal take?

Kalshi says funds typically arrive in your wallet within 30 minutes and that it charges no fee for crypto withdrawals.

Do I need a memo?

Yesa shows a memo on the deposit screen only for networks that need one. If you see one, include it; if you see none, none is needed.

How fast will the naira reach my bank?

Across 1,700 measured bank payouts on Yesa, the median payout time was 4.7 seconds. These are historical measurements, not guarantees. The on-chain part, your crypto reaching Yesa, comes first and depends on the network you send on.

Is it legal to sell USDC in Nigeria?

Yes. Buying, holding and selling cryptocurrency is legal for individuals in Nigeria. Digital assets are recognised under the Investments and Securities Act 2025, and the Securities and Exchange Commission regulates digital asset services. Crypto is not legal tender, and profits from trading may be taxable, so keep your own records of what you buy and sell. This is general information rather than legal or tax advice; the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Central Bank of Nigeria publish the current position.
