Best apps to buy crypto with naira in Nigeria (2026)

Buying crypto with naira used to mean P2P on Binance. That route closed in 2024, and the apps that sell you crypto directly now work in different ways. We checked which ones really take naira on 14 October 2026, and how.

Quick answer

The best app to buy crypto with naira shows the exact total before you pay and adds no fee on top. We built Yesa for that: ten coins, zero fees to buy, and you pay by bank transfer or from your Yesa naira balance. Busha and Luno are full exchanges with more coins; on Monica you can buy USDT, and on Breet only USDT and USDC. Binance has had no naira route since 2024.

First, the disclosure

We build Yesa, so yes, we put ourselves first on this list. For every app we say what it does well and what to watch, and we only state what the app itself publishes, with links so you can check.

What we compared

01

How you pay in naira

Straight from your bank, from a naira balance you hold in the app, or through a merchant. Each one changes how long it takes and what can go wrong.

02

The total you pay

Some apps publish a fee, some advertise none, some say nothing. The real test is whether the total is on screen before you confirm.

03

Which coins

From two stablecoins to more than 70 assets.

04

The minimum

What you need to start, where the app publishes it.

1. Yesa (that's us)

Best for: seeing the exact total before you pay, zero fees, and paying straight from your bank.

On Yesa you choose the coin, type the naira amount, and see how much of the coin you get before you confirm. You pay in one of two ways: by bank transfer, where Yesa gives you an account to pay and the exact total, or from your Yesa naira balance if you already hold naira from selling crypto or gift cards. You can buy ten coins: USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Solana, TRON, Litecoin, Dogecoin and XRP.

Zero fees

Yesa charges zero fees to buy crypto, to sell crypto and to sell gift cards. The total on screen is what you pay.

Pay from your own bank

Send the exact total from a bank account in your own name. The coin lands in your Yesa wallet a few minutes after your transfer arrives. Nothing is charged until you transfer, and cancelling costs nothing.

Sell back the same way

The coins you buy can be sold back for naira in the same app, at a rate published on this site every day.

What to watch: Yesa is a buy and cash-out app, not a trading terminal. There are no charts or limit orders, and ten coins is fewer than the exchanges below list.

2. Busha

Best for: the widest coin list from a long-running Nigerian exchange.

Busha is a full exchange that says it lists more than 70 digital assets, with BTC, ETH and USDT among them. You fund your Busha wallet in naira by bank transfer or card, then buy instantly, set a limit order, or schedule recurring buys. On the Play Store it shows 500K+ downloads and a 4.3 rating.

What to watch: we could not find a published buy fee or minimum on its website, so check the total in the app before you confirm. You complete identity verification before you trade.

3. Luno

Best for: a published buy fee and order-book prices.

Luno lists 61 coins for customers verified in Nigeria. You deposit naira into your Luno wallet by bank transfer, then buy in one of two ways: an instant buy at a published 2% fee, from 50 naira per transaction, or on the naira order book, where the taker fee is 0.10% at most volumes. It is the biggest app here by downloads, with 10M+ and a 3.9 rating on the Play Store.

What to watch: buying is two steps, deposit then buy, and Luno's own help pages quote two different naira deposit fees, so confirm the deposit cost in the app. Bank transfer deposits are only for fully verified customers.

4. Monica

Best for: buying USDT from a naira balance, with no fee on the buy.

Monica is mainly a sell app, but it also lets you buy USDT with naira. You top up your Monica naira balance by bank transfer, open the Buy screen, choose USDT and type the naira amount. Its buy page says it charges 0% on the buy, the minimum is 1,000 naira, and you can send the USDT out on TRC-20, ERC-20, BEP-20 or Solana. It shows 100K+ downloads and a 4.6 rating on the Play Store.

What to watch: its buy page covers USDT; other coins are not confirmed there, and card payments are described as still rolling out.

Sources, checked 14 October 2026: buy USDT, Play Store.

5. Obiex

Best for: zero advertised fees and more than 20 coins.

Obiex advertises zero fees on buying and selling and lists more than 20 cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT and SOL. You buy with NGNX, its naira balance: you add naira to NGNX, then swap it for the coin you want at the quote shown. It has the highest Play Store rating on this list: 4.8, with 100K+ downloads.

What to watch: the pages we checked do not say how you add naira to NGNX or what it costs, so confirm both in the app before you buy.

Sources, checked 14 October 2026: homepage, buying with NGNX, Play Store.

6. Breet

Best for: stablecoins only, with the naira figure shown first.

Breet lets you buy USDT and USDC with naira. Its buy page says the minimum purchase is 10 dollars and that you see the exact naira amount before you confirm. On the Play Store it shows 500K+ downloads and a 4.6 rating.

What to watch: only two coins, and Breet's buy page does not publish a fee or the ways you can pay.

Not on this list, and why

Guides that rank for this search still recommend some of these. On 14 October 2026, none of them offered a direct way to buy crypto with naira that we could confirm on the app's own pages.

Binance

Binance delisted every naira pair on its P2P market in February 2024 and ended its other naira services in March 2024.

Bybit and KuCoin

Their naira routes are P2P: you pay an individual merchant and the exchange holds the crypto until they confirm. We could not confirm live naira listings for either on 14 October 2026.

Yellow Card

Yellow Card closed its retail app on 1 January 2026 and now serves businesses only.

Roqqu, Bitnob and Pandar

Roqqu publishes a 2% fee to buy, but in dollars, and none of its pages we opened mentions paying in naira. Bitnob's listing says you can buy bitcoin but not that you pay in naira. Pandar only lets you sell crypto.

Buying crypto with naira: common questions

What is the best app to buy crypto with naira in Nigeria?

It depends on what you want to buy and how you want to pay. To see the exact total before you pay, pay zero fees and choose from ten coins, we built Yesa for that. For the widest coin lists, Busha and Luno are full exchanges. On Monica you can buy USDT with no fee on the buy, and on Breet only USDT and USDC. Binance has had no naira route at all since 2024.

Which app has the lowest fee to buy crypto with naira?

Compare the total you pay for the coin you get, not only the headline fee. Yesa charges zero fees to buy crypto. Monica says it charges 0% on the buy and Obiex advertises zero fees. Luno publishes a 2% fee on instant buys and 0.10% on its order book. Busha and Breet do not publish a buy fee. Check the deposit step too: some apps charge to fund the naira wallet you buy from.

Can I buy crypto with a bank transfer in Nigeria?

Yes. On Yesa you can pay for the coin by bank transfer: you get an account to pay and the exact total, and the coin lands in your Yesa wallet a few minutes after your transfer arrives. You can also pay from your Yesa naira balance. On Busha, Luno and Monica you first fund a naira wallet by bank transfer, then buy.

Can I still buy crypto with naira on Binance?

No. Binance delisted every naira pair on its P2P market in February 2024 and ended its other naira services in March 2024, and it has not announced a return. Binance still works for crypto to crypto trading, but buying with naira needs a local app.

Is P2P a safe way to buy crypto with naira?

It can work, but you are paying a stranger. On Bybit and KuCoin P2P you send naira to an individual merchant's bank account and the exchange holds the crypto until the merchant confirms. Most problems come from the bank side: a transfer flagged by your bank, or a payment from an account that does not match your name. An app that sells you the coin directly removes that step.

What is the minimum amount of crypto I can buy with naira?

It varies by app. Luno's instant buy starts at 50 naira, Monica's buy at 1,000 naira, and Breet's at 10 dollars. On Yesa the amount screen shows the live minimum and maximum before you start. Busha and Obiex do not publish a minimum.

Is it legal to buy crypto with naira in Nigeria?

Yes. Buying, holding and selling cryptocurrency is legal for individuals in Nigeria. Digital assets are recognised under the Investments and Securities Act 2025, and the Securities and Exchange Commission regulates digital asset services. Crypto is not legal tender. This is general information rather than legal or tax advice; the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Central Bank of Nigeria publish the current position.
