How to withdraw from KuCoin to a Nigerian bank account

KuCoin does not pay naira straight into a Nigerian bank from your balance, and it paused its naira P2P market in May 2024. The dependable route is to send your coin to an app that buys it for naira. Here it is step by step.

What happened to KuCoin's naira route

KuCoin used to have a naira P2P market. In May 2024 it paused it.

KuCoin's own announcement said it was pausing all P2P Nigerian naira services, and Fast Buy with naira cards, from 15 May 2024. Other KuCoin services stayed open, including crypto withdrawals to outside addresses.

When we checked on 18 October 2026 we could not find a KuCoin notice saying naira P2P is back. If naira shows up in the P2P section of your app, that is one option, with the risks listed further down. If it does not, the dependable route is two hops: withdraw the coin to a platform that buys it for naira, sell, then withdraw the naira to your bank.

Yesa is our app, so read this comparison with that in mind. Everything in the Yesa column is something you can check on screen before you confirm.

KuCoin to your bank in six steps

01

Open your Yesa deposit address

In Yesa, choose the coin you hold and open your personal deposit address. The screen lists the networks it accepts for that coin; for USDC that is Ethereum (ERC-20), Solana, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), Base and Arbitrum. Copy the address for the network you will use.

02

Start a withdrawal on KuCoin

In the KuCoin app, open Assets and tap Withdraw; some versions put Withdraw under Assets, then Overview (names can change between app versions). Choose the same coin you picked in Yesa.

03

Pick the same network on both sides

Choose a network that appears on KuCoin's withdraw screen and on your Yesa deposit screen. For USDT, KuCoin can pick the chain from the address you paste; check that what it picked is the network your Yesa address is on. KuCoin shows its withdrawal fee and minimum for each network before you confirm.

04

Paste the address and confirm

Paste your Yesa address, never type it, and compare the first and last few characters. Enter the amount and confirm. KuCoin asks for its security checks, such as your trading password and an email, SMS or authenticator code.

05

Send a small test first

The first time, send a small amount and wait for it to show in Yesa before you send the rest.

06

Sell in Yesa and withdraw to your bank

The naira amount is on your screen before you confirm the sale. Then withdraw to any Nigerian bank account.

KuCoin's withdraw screen, field by field

Coin and network

Pick the coin first, then the network. KuCoin's help centre warns that an incompatible network can mean funds are lost for good. USDT is the coin where this matters most, because it travels on several networks.

Which balance it comes from

KuCoin lets you withdraw from your Funding account or your Trading account. If the coin is sitting in a trading balance, choose that, or move it across first.

Fee and amount received

KuCoin shows the withdrawal fee and the amount that will arrive before you confirm. Check the amount that arrives, not the amount you type.

Security checks

Expect your trading password plus an email, SMS or authenticator code, depending on what you have set up. Once a withdrawal has gone through, KuCoin cannot cancel it.

If naira P2P is available to you

KuCoin's P2P guide says to add a payment method before you trade, and to confirm the buyer's payment in your own bank account before you release. A KuCoin P2P sale pays you from the buyer's bank, not from KuCoin, so everything rests on that check.

Coins you can send from KuCoin to Yesa

Yesa buys USDT, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), BNB, USDC, Litecoin (LTC) and TRON (TRX). Your Yesa deposit screen is the final word: send only on a network it lists, and send a small test amount the first time. A coin sent on a network the screen does not list can be lost.

Guides for each coin: sell USDT, sell USDC, sell Bitcoin, sell Ethereum, sell Solana, sell BNB and sell Litecoin. The full list of coins and networks is on coins and networks Yesa supports.

This guide explains how to move and sell crypto you already hold. It is not a view on whether to sell, hold or buy any coin, and nothing here is financial advice.

KuCoin to naira: common questions

Can I withdraw from KuCoin to a Nigerian bank account?

Not straight from your KuCoin balance. KuCoin paused its naira P2P services in May 2024 and we could not find a notice that they are back. Send your USDT or another coin from KuCoin to Yesa, sell it at the naira figure on screen, and withdraw to any Nigerian bank account.

Is KuCoin P2P still available for naira?

KuCoin paused P2P Nigerian naira services from 15 May 2024, per its own announcement. On 18 October 2026 we found no KuCoin notice saying naira P2P has returned. Check the P2P section of your app: if naira is not offered, use the withdraw-and-sell route on this page.

Which network should I use to send USDT from KuCoin?

One that appears on both KuCoin's withdraw screen and your Yesa USDT deposit screen. KuCoin can detect the chain from the address you paste, so check what it picked. For USDC, Yesa accepts Ethereum (ERC-20), Solana, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), Base and Arbitrum.

Why is my KuCoin withdrawal asking for a trading password?

KuCoin protects withdrawals with its security checks: your trading password plus an email, SMS or authenticator code, depending on your settings. Set them up in KuCoin's account security settings first.

My KuCoin withdrawal has not reached Yesa. What should I check?

First check the withdrawal status in KuCoin; exchanges sometimes hold a withdrawal for a security check. Then look up the transaction hash on the network's explorer. If it is confirmed on chain and still missing in Yesa, email support@yesaapp.ng with the transaction hash.

How fast will the naira reach my bank?

Across 1,700 measured bank payouts on Yesa, the median payout time was 4.7 seconds. These are historical measurements, not guarantees. The on-chain part, your crypto reaching Yesa, comes first and depends on the network you send on.
